Speech Land – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2025

1. About Speech Land and Our Professional Model

Speech Land (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a dedicated speech and language support practice based in Ontario, focused on helping children and families build strong communication skills through play-based, evidence-informed services.

Our services are delivered by qualified Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) working within a collaborative model alongside Registered Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) regulated by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

Complimentary screenings help families identify whether a formal assessment may be beneficial.

When an assessment, diagnosis, or treatment plan is needed, this is completed by a Registered SLP.

Ongoing intervention and support for the child are then carried out by our CDAs, in line with the goals and treatment plan established and supervised by the SLP.

This structure allows families to benefit from a coordinated, supervised, and efficient model of care.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information obtained through this website and related electronic communications.
